At Crossways, we understand that suitable housing with the right support is an essential part of overcoming homelessness, mental health challenges and supported accommodation may be an option if residents need some support but also want their independence. We know that finding the right care and support for the residents we support can be tricky, especially when they want to maintain their independence. That's why our supported living options are designed around what's important to our residents. Supported living offers an alternative to residential care and empowers the residents we support to choose the right amount of support - how and when they need it - so they can lead an enriching and fulfilling life.

The amount of support we provide varies depending on needs, and can be anything from a few hours a week, up to full-time support or intensive support over a short period of time to help achieve a goal. We also encourage peer support as much as possible, where mutual support and a shared journey empowers people to make the changes and learn together. Through self-development and collaborative support with our staff, the residents we support gain self-confidence and improved emotional wellbeing on their pathway to independence and recovery.

Our supported living is based on the type of support the residents want to receive and are controlled by them. Our staff work collaboratively with our residents to develop personalised support plan based on their interests, priorities and skills.

At Crossways, “the residents decide.”
